My review is very long, but it is important that the entire story be told so you know the depth of this review and my severe disdain for this group of crooks.
I waited until now to post this review to avoid any potential retaliation. 2015, I purchased a pre-owned Honda Crosstour from your Autonation Nissan Lewisville location.
Noticing it had been in their inventory for a decent amount of time, I was surprised no one had purchased. It was a low mileage Honda - those go quickly!
(I later learned why) Before we signed the papers, my husband spoke to Taylor, the sales manager at the time, about the issues he immediately noticed with the vehicle (top priority full was the CV axle needed replacing and could be the reason for a vibration. There were also little things, like a bulb out in the car, tail lights needing to be secured, etc.
Taylor insisted there was nothing mechanically wrong with the car, that they'd already replaced the CV axle on the driver's side, and that it was thoroughly serviced, despite my husband's insistence that it needed to be checked. I decided to go forward with the deal.
At the time, I was pregnant and uncomfortable getting in and out of my sports car with a growing belly and pregnancy pains and just ready to be done with. Given Honda's excellent reputation, and Taylor's verbal promise that he would personally see to it that the issues we had would be addressed by the service department, we proceeded with the deal.
By November 7th, as my husband and I were out running errands, I began to notice the vibration on the driver's side. The car began "sputtering" while accelerating from a low gear. At first I noticed it only a couple of times, but it was enough to concern me, and enough that I wanted to get it in quickly while I was still within my "3 day guarantee" window.
We drove to the service department and arrived at 4:55p, but they were shutting down for the day - it was a Saturday. So Monday morning I drove my car in to be checked by service. I explained I just bought the car and what my husband thought was the issue.
